Eastman BC10 K. Holtz Fiberglass Cello Bow - 4/4 Size (2-pack)
4/4-size Fiberglass Cello Bow with Ebony Frog, Nickel-silver Mountings, and Mongolian Horsehair
Fantastic Bow for Beginners
Players who are just starting their musical journey don’t have an immediate need for a high-end wood or a carbon fiber bow. They need an affordable bow that won’t compromise their learning. The K. Holtz bow from Eastman is a superb option for budding cellists — it’s optimally balanced and helps produce a smooth, clear sound. Another reason our Sweetwater string specialists recommend the Holtz fiberglass bow is because it won’t warp or break easily, meaning your student can rely on it throughout their formative years. On top of that, the ebony frog, the genuine leather grip, and the unbleached Mongolian horsehair give this bow a natural feel that will be comfortable for students to learn and grow with. When equipped with the K. Holtz fiberglass bow, your young cellist will perform with confidence.
Eastman: crafting fine instruments since 1992
Accomplished flutist Qian Ni founded Eastman in 1992 after graduating from the Boston University School of Music. Similar to Sweetwater, Eastman started as a one-man operation, with Ni selling instruments out of the back of his car. Today, Eastman is a global maker of musical instruments, but they've never lost sight of their humble beginnings. Players — both students and professionals alike — searching for an instrument with outstanding sound, comfortable playability, and traditional craftsmanship will find exactly what they're looking for from Eastman.
