Exceptional Vintage Shipping Trunk by the Mendel Trunx Company. Collector's Item, in its original condition with "swastika" lining. Normal scuff marks to be associated with age but it has not be restored or cleaned. Ideal for coffee table or display talking point. Can also stand upright for accessing storage boxes etc, see photos. Photos are comprehensive. The best words to describe it are: "very strongly built" and "heavy". The only specific damage: the lock has been cut in half at some time to open the trunk. The 2 halves of the lock are still attached - see photos. No Key. There is surface discolouring ONLY of the metal parts, that will polish up if preferred but I prefer to leave it authentic,
