This vintage divided back postcard features a view of the Carleton County Hospital in Woodstock, New Brunswick, published for Mrs. John Loane & Co. The card was written in Woodstock in 1908, and bears an Ashland, Maine postmark dated 1908, along with a green 1-cent King Edward VII Canadian postage stamp. The original Carleton County Hospital shown on the card was replaced in 1911 by the L.P. Fisher Memorial Hospital, which inherited the building and property. That structure was eventually demolished in 1954 to make way for the larger Carleton Memorial Hospital.
