A signed early Star Wars hardcover with its original $7.95 dust jacket.

Alan Dean Foster’s Splinter of the Mind’s Eye takes Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia to the swamp planet Mimban, where a search for a crystal powerful in the Force draws them toward Darth Vader. Published in 1978, it is one of the earliest original Star Wars novels—a compelling piece of the story’s history before The Empire Strikes Back.
