Vintage Multi-Layer Wood 3x3 Inch Lens Board with 63.5-66mm Opening for Large Format Camera
This is a vintage multi-layer wooden lens board designed for vintage large-format or field cameras. The board features a square shape with a stepped light trap on the back to prevent any light leaks inside the camera bellows. The front side has four pre-drilled holes for mounting a lens flange, and there are four corner holes for fixing the board to the camera's front standard. It is a hand-adjusted or custom-made piece crafted from durable multi-layer wood, making it highly versatile. It can be easily modified or sanded down to fit a slightly smaller mount, or used as a transitional adapter for various vintage or modern lenses, including large shutters like Copal or Compur number 3.
Condition
The item is in used vintage condition with visible signs of wear, previous mounting marks, and age. There are extra screw holes on the front from a previously installed lens flange. The wood has a natural aged patina. The central opening was enlarged manually, so the inner diameter slightly varies in different spots.
