vintage Atlantic City casino pocket ashtray, the type commonly used by gamblers in the 1970s–1990s before indoor smoking bans. It features a metal hinged lid and a black-and-gold Atlantic City design with classic casino imagery including cards, dice, chips, and a slot machine.
The ashtray is hollow inside, designed for holding ashes or cigarette butts while walking the casino floor or sitting at slot machines. These were popular souvenirs and practical accessories for players who wanted a portable ashtray during long gaming sessions.
