1982 Fleer Football Teams In Action - Two (2) Unopened Wax Packs - NEAR MINT. (Very few of these left!!). These nearly 45-year-old wax packs are in the same condition as when they sold originally in 1982. These came from a sealed case which I bought myself back then. Each pack has 7 great NFL Teams in Action cards and 3 "Solid Gold" NFL logo (or helmet) stickers (so you'll get 14 cards and 6 NFL stickers). Although there are no players names on the front of these outstanding in-action cards (there are two cards for each team, plus Super Bowl cards, and NFL team highlights cards), the players are readily recognizable. In the 1982 Fleer set are the very first Fleer cards of one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time -- Joe Montana. And....there is not just one card picturing Joe Montana in this set; there are two! In addition to Montana, many other NFL greats and Hall of Famers are pictured in this great NFL action set. Among them are Walter Payton, Earl Campbell, John Riggins, Wendell Tyler, Jack Lambert, Joe Theismann, Jim Taylor, Bob Griese, Paul Warfield, Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Larry Csonka, Jim Plunkett, Bill Walsh, Bob Lilly, Lynn Swann, and more. Since there are only 88 cards in the complete set and the distribution is excellent, your chance of getting multiple Hall of Famers is outstanding.
