Vintage Santa Cruz Super 8 downhill mountain bike project.

This belonged to my uncle, who rode downhill back in the day. It has been stored for a number of years and I was originally intending to get it rebuilt, but I’ve never got around to doing it, so I’m selling it as a project.

* Santa Cruz Super 8 downhill frame
* RockShox Boxxer dual-crown forks
* Rear coil shock
* Cranks/BB
* Pair of period Mavic D521 wheels
* Rear cassette
* Front and rear disc rotors as pictured
* Other components shown in the photographs

The frame and components show signs of age and use, including scratches and paint wear. One of the wheels has a noticeable dent in the rim, which is clearly shown in the photographs.

I have not rebuilt or serviced the bike and cannot confirm the condition of the suspension, bearings, wheels or other components, so please consider this a project/parts bike rather than a ready-to-ride bicycle.

I have taken plenty of photographs so please study them carefully for condition and what’s included.
