This is an original Polaroid instant film back adapter custom manufactured/modified for the Kiev-88 and Salyut medium format camera systems by the Arsenal factory. It is designed for instant proofing, allowing photographers to check exposure, lighting, and composition before shooting on standard 120 roll film. The back is equipped with its original metal dark slide (shutter plate) to protect the film from accidental exposure when mounting or removing. Since the original Type 100 pack film is discontinued, this unit in its pristine state is highly valued by collectors or as a premium donor body for custom modifications to fit modern Fujifilm Instax Wide or Square film formats.
