For sale is an authentic Labconco secondary vacuum cold trap constructed from brushed stainless steel. Designed for use in series between vacuum pumps and Labconco FreeZone freeze dry systems, CentriVap concentrators, or RapidVap evaporation systems to prevent corrosive solvent vapors from migrating into and damaging mechanical vacuum pumps.

Application:

When filled with dry ice and a solvent (such as ethanol or isopropyl alcohol), this trap cools to approximately -75°C (-103°F) to rapidly condense and capture low-eutectic vapor before reaching your pump. Can also function as an independent standalone benchtop collector.

Condition:

Used, excellent structural condition. Welded vacuum ports are straight, round, and intact. Interior and exterior stainless surfaces are clean with only minor signs of light benchtop handling and small cosmetic spots as pictured. Please note: Outer lid is not included; sale includes the main insulated trap body, gasket, and removable stainless steel insert canister.
