These are the real deal, not flash painted glass. True, retro ruby glass like this is made by breaking gold down into an acid and mixing it with molten glass.

This set of 3 candlestick holders is from the 60s-70s, although they are unmarked, no maker stamp or etching whatsoever. But thr narrow stem and wide top are reminiscent of German ruby glass designs from that era. No markings. Hand blown glass, dense and well-made.

The hole for the candle is about 1" deep
