Lot of 5 old approximately 4-inch square-shank iron nails / spikes, sold exactly as pictured.

This group shows variation in head shape, shank profile, point, and overall construction. Some examples have the flatter, more regular rectangular profile associated with machine-cut nails/spikes, while others are more irregular and appear consistent with hand-forged or hand-finished construction.

Several examples from the larger group also show raised circular tooling marks on the heads.

Because manufacturing methods vary and the individual pieces have not been independently dated, no specific age or manufacturing method is guaranteed for each nail.
