Wonderful vintage fire department design with colorful lithographed graphics, illustrated firemen, FIRE CHIEF markings and original-style clockwork mechanism.

The mechanism has been tested.

The SIREN WORKS VERY WELL and produces a strong sound when operated.

PLEASE NOTE: The driving/movement mechanism does NOT currently work. The car does not propel itself when wound. Selling as-is for display, collection, repair or restoration.

The mechanism was lightly lubricated during testing, which restored excellent operation of the siren, but did not restore the driving function.

Shows substantial age-appropriate wear including scratches, scuffs, paint/lithograph loss, oxidation, surface rust, discoloration and general play/storage wear. Please review all photos closely for exact cosmetic condition.
