DCC Sound RAPIDO TRAINS UK OO Gauge 904507 Class 15XX Pannier Tank '1500' GWR Green

Thank you for viewing our listing for this OO gauge model of the 15XX Class pannier tank, manufactured by Rapido Trains UK (904507). The loco carries the running number 1500 and is presented in GWR green with lettering to the tanks - this is one of Rapido's 'what if' liveries as these locos were introduced under British Railways and never carried GWR green. The loco is factory fitted with DCC sound, the address is set to #3. The loco will run on analogue layouts as well with basic sounds playing but everything else uncontrollable, therefore performance will always be best with digital control.

The model features a metal body and chassis - it's very weighty! It is well detailed with separately fitted handrails, lamp brackets and pipework. There is a sliding vent in the footplate roof and sliding panels to the footplate sides, sprung buffers and even firebox flicker represented by an LED.

The loco is presented in good, used condition and has been test run to ensure proper operation. Unfortunately there is a small rain gutter missing from the roof and a couple of footsteps missing, there are also some small marks/paint chips around the body. Traditional NEM couplings have been replaced with magnetic examples. The additional detailing parts and instructions are present. The box is in good condition with some shelf wear. Please view all of the images to help gain a better understanding of any damaged areas.

This is a high quality model of an interesting class of locomotive with the added benefit of DCC sound. It would make a great addition to your layout!

ABOUT US - TEST TRACK MODELS

Hi, I'm Tom, a model railway lifer and car tragic. I've spent many, many hours working on model railway layouts at home, being roped-in by my dad at a young age! I also have a passion for cars and used to collect 1:18 scale examples.

With over 10 years' experience buying & selling on eBay and having spent all of my working life in different levels of retail I decided to take a risk, leave my career and set up Test Track Models, intending to bring good value to a strong selection of pre-owned model railway items, cars of all scales and perhaps the other odd thing in between.

It's been exciting so far (and a steep learning curve) and I look forward to where it might end up.

I commit to reusing packaging where I can to lessen any impact, and using options such as paper packing tape.

With thanks,
Tom
