Vintage Smiths Astrolon mechanical wristwatch, reference 16137.

The watch winds and is currently running and appears to be working well during testing. I have not tested it for long-term accuracy and it has not been recently serviced, so it is being sold as a vintage working watch with no guarantee of timekeeping accuracy.

The front acrylic/crystal is cracked and heavily scratched, as clearly shown in the photographs. The dial itself remains attractive with its gold-tone finish and raised hour markers.

Gold-tone case shows age-related wear, marks and plating wear. Fitted with a black leather strap which also shows signs of use.

The watch has an unusual transparent rear cover displaying the Swiss AGON/Astrolon mechanical movement, making this an interesting piece for Smiths and vintage watch collectors.
