This racket has clearly seen considerable previous use and displays authentic age-related wear. There are scratches, scuffs, marks and finish deterioration to the wooden frame and painted sections.
The grip is particularly worn, with substantial deterioration around the butt/end of the handle. The cream-painted handle section also shows noticeable crazing and surface wear.
The strings remain fitted, although due to the age of the racket their tension and suitability for actual sporting use cannot be guaranteed.
The wooden frame appears substantially complete, but because this is an older sporting item it is best regarded primarily as a vintage collectable/display piece rather than modern playing equipment.
