Symbolic Design with Cultural Meaning

A blooming plum blossom tree appears in the background. In Chinese culture, the plum blossom symbolizes hope, purity, and perseverance. The design also features the Chinese character for Goat, the inscription "GOAT 2027," and The Perth Mint's famous "P" mintmark.
Together, these elements create a meaningful tribute to the Year of the Goat. They also give the coin strong visual appeal.
Five Ounces of Pure Silver
The Perth Mint strikes this coin from 5 troy ounces of .9999 fine silver. Each piece contains 155.533 grams of pure silver. The coin measures 61.00 mm in diameter and 7.20 mm thick.
Australia issues the coin as legal tender with an $8 AUD denomination. The Australian government guarantees its weight and purity. As a result, investors and collectors trust its authenticity worldwide.
