Schlagwerk 60C80 8-note Padouk Log Drum - C-Pentatonic Scale

Log Drum with Padouk Playing Surface and 8 pitches (E, G, A, C, D, E, G, and A)

Create Inspiring Sound Patterns

Create brilliantly clear, open, and inspiring sound patterns with this Schlagwerk Log Drum. Guaranteed to deliver pure, unrestrained playing pleasure, this melodic rhythm instrument produces eight pitches that are based on the C pentatonic scale. You'll appreciate the soft, full sound exhibited by the Log Drum's padouk playing surface. Schlagwerk are log drum-building experts with three decades of experience under their collective belts. In fact, log drums were the first instruments that the company produced back in 1982. Note: MA102 or MA103 mallets (not included) are recommended.

When you're serious about the cajon, you're ready for a Schlagwerk

Modern cajonists owe a great debt to Schlagwerk Percussion. Not only did Schlagwerk popularize the cajon as we know it with the help of Freddie Santiago 30 years ago, but Schlagwerk also introduced the idea of using snare wires to simulate the classic buzz — usually the result of split plywood — heard in these former instruments. Every premium Schlagwerk cajon is still handmade in Germany with real German quality and innovation — just as it was when owner Gerhard Priel began building temple blocks in his garage in 1982. When you're ready to take your playing to the next level, Sweetwater stands behind Schlagwerk cajons.
