Launched in 2001 under the legendary creative direction of Tom Ford and composed by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier, Nu is a dark, sophisticated Amber Spicy masterpiece that has long been discontinued.

Fragrance Preservation & Quality Note:

Because YSL Nu is a heavy Amber Spicy composition dominated by deep resinous base notes (incense, sandalwood, frankincense, and black pepper), it preserves exceptionally well over decades. Furthermore, because this bottle remains factory-sealed and un-sprayed, zero oxygen has entered the chamber to cause chemical oxidation. The juice inside is securely stored and protected. As with all genuine 20-year+ archival vintages, the very first 1 or 2 clearing sprays may carry an alcoholic top note from the plastic straw tube before settling into the original, rich, and highly potent formulation.

Contents: 100% brand new, unused, and un-sprayed. The matte metallic perfume disc, incense bundle, and tray are pristine.

Cellophane Wrapper:

The box remains inside its original factory cellophane wrap. The main horizontal industrial heat-weld seams are completely tight, unbroken, and securely sealed. The inner box cannot be removed, guaranteeing untouched contents.

Vintage Aging Note:

As is common with 25-year-old plastic wrap, the cellophane shows natural age-related tension relaxation. The original factory glue dot on one side corner flap has dried out over decades, meaning that specific corner flap lifts and moves when handled. It has NOT been cut or artificially resealed. It settles perfectly flush when resting.

Provenance Sticker: Features the original vintage retail price label from Beales Department Store (Fine Fragrances dept) on the reverse, providing excellent real-world proof of high-street origin and authenticity.

Batch Stamp: Features the authentic vintage blind-stamped batch indentation matching the early global launch run of late 2001.
