Welcome to my listing for my lovely design Sony MZ-R91 Walkman MiniDisc Recorder. This deck feels like quality in your hands. The build is exceptional. This is a much sought after, brilliant sounding unit from Sony.
There are a couple of issues with the unit. Firstly, playback is working perfectly but it doesn't seem to be recording properly. It appears to record and write to the disc, but it doesn't seem to finalise it so when you put the discs back in, it just says "BLANK DISC" again. If you just needed a player, this is perfect, and one of the better, sturdier designs from Sony.
These compact portable units are so well made and are a joy to use. Magnificent Sony engineering.
Due to the issue mentioned above, I'm happy to start this auction off at 99p. This could be a great bargain for somebody just needing a separate MiniDisc player, maybe using it to take the load off the laser of their main recording machine?
