Rebound, and as can be seen from the photos the front board is lacking and the rear board is cracking to spine edges. The spine covering is cracked and peeling from contents, is worn/rubbed and has a couple of ting nicks to top and bottom. Rear board is scuffed with some scratches and corners a hint chipped and bumped. Internally more recent endpapers and blanks. Marbled endpapers to front and rear (detaching). Contents are cracking/cracked in places throughout, with some movement. Plates are browned/stained as is usual, and a couple have been restuck to inner edges. Thumbed, with some creases, and very occasional light dustiness, with a few grubby marks. The odd chip and some creases. Some offsetting. Else text block remains in reasonably clean condition for a Dickens.

There is an engraved frontispiece, and engraved title page and a further 38 full page engraved plates

Shipping

  • We will gladly ship anywhere in the World.
  • We offer FREE UK domestic shipping, fully tracked and insured.
  • We use several services for overseas shipping, under 5kg usually shipped via Royal Mail Tracked. Heavier shipments or faster courier services are available, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred method.
  • We combine shipping for multiple items (Please wait to be invoiced for multiple purchases for accurate costings).
  • We will also gladly hold purchased items to allow for larger combined shipments, (Please let us know before payment).
  • All shipping costs are weight dependent.
  • We ship at cost.

Packaging
All our books will be carefully and securely packaged in custom made book boxes (The majority of which are produced Carbon Neutral). The Bubble packaging and boxes are all recyclable, and most tape used is environmentally friendly (we are constantly researching ways to reduce our environmental impact without compromising safe, secure and affordable shipping). We aim to send all items within 24-48 hours of payment.

Returns Policy
If you are unhappy in any way, for whatever reason, with the transaction or the item, please contact us as soon as possible. Your item is fully refundable if not as described.
