Lovely Wedgwood Peter Rabbit mug and plate set, featuring classic Beatrix Potter illustrations from The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

The mug and plate were purchased separately and were not originally sold as a matching set, but they complement each other beautifully.

The mug features Peter Rabbit running with his radishes on one side and sleeping beside the watering can on the other, with a small bee detail inside.

The plate features Mrs Rabbit with Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail and Peter, surrounded by the famous opening line from the story.

Both pieces are in very good pre-owned condition and have seen very little use. Please see photographs for details and backstamps.
