For sale is a Hornby Ref No. R2748 BR Class 50 No. 50011 ' Centurion ' in BR Large Logo Blue Livery - Era 8.

It comes in an unused condition BUT, has been stored for some time and the box has become tatty. The reason for storage is the headcode box lights at one end do not work . The high intensity light and tail lights at both ends work as dose the headcode box lights at the other end. The working fan works.

The lights may not work due to a misaligned contact, a common fault in this version of the Class 50 but i cannot confirm.

It comes with its sealed detail pack, instructions, picture inlay card and decoder sleeve.

A rare loco i have test run today on taking the photos and it runs smoothly in both directions; a light lubrication as per the instructions will be needed if prolonged running is undertaken.

This is one a many Hornby locos i will be listing over the coming months, that have minor issues or will be sold as spares, as i am having a clear out now i decided to retire.
