III.Description
SmallRig 35mm External Optical Viewfinder 6172 is designed to assist with camera framing while recreating the retro shooting experience of the film era. It provides a more natural optical view and helps reduce color shifts caused by glare or reflections.

The viewfinder mounts to the camera hot shoe via a cold shoe mount and features a built-in silicone pad on the bottom to help protect the hot shoe contacts. It provides a field of view equivalent to a 35mm focal length on a full-frame camera (for APS-C cameras, pairing it with a 23mm lens is recommended), ideal for street photography.

Its optical system uses five groups of high-quality optical glass with a light transmission rate of up to 93%, delivering a clear, bright image with minimal distortion. Built-in 3:2 frame lines help define the framing area for easier composition.

IV.Precautions
This product uses a fixed-diopter optical design with a nominal value of -0.52D and is intended to provide a comfortable viewing experience at an approximate viewing distance of 0.1 to 3.0m. 
1.Users with normal vision or mild myopia
Can achieve the best viewing experience. 
2.Users with myopia, hyperopia, or presbyopia
When wearing glasses: Regular corrective eyewear is recommended for the clearest view. The product has an eye relief of 15.5mm.
When not wearing glasses: Users with vision around -0.50D may achieve the clearest naked-eye viewing. Users with more severe myopia or hyperopia may experience blurred vision.
3.Viewing recommendation
To ensure an 89% field of view and optimal clarity, keep your eye as close as possible to the eyepiece and maintain a centered line of sight.
