Vintage Torsion Balance Co. Style 1505 scale originating from the Blue Bell factory in Brenham, Texas, offered together with its Blue Bell history book and original auction provenance tag.

This grouping was acquired as Blue Bell factory property. The original auction tag remains attached to the scale and is handwritten “From Blue Bell.”

Also included is the hardcover Blue Bell history book “Blue Bell Ice Cream: A Century at the Little Creamery in Brenham, Texas, 1907–2007,” making this an especially appealing display grouping for a Blue Bell, Texas history, dairy or advertising collection.

The scale's manufacturer's plate identifies it as The Torsion Balance Co., New York, Style 1505, No. C14930, Capacity 120 GRM, Made in U.S.A.

The scale remains in as-found vintage condition with substantial paint loss, staining, discoloration, oxidation, scratches and general wear consistent with age and industrial use. It has not been tested for accuracy or calibration and is being sold as a collectible/display/restoration piece.

Included in this sale: Torsion Balance Style 1505 scale, original “From Blue Bell” auction tag, and Blue Bell hardcover history book shown in the photographs.
