INDUSTAR M (F/3.5 23mm) m39 LENS

This lens was taken from a Kiev 30 subminiature film camera and adapted to the M39 mount.

The Kiev 30 (and the earlier Vega model) was a Soviet camera based on the Japanese Minolta 16 design.

Flange focal distance: 28.8 mm
Suitable for: APS-C sensors and smaller
With APS-C sensors, minor vignetting may be visible.
On full-frame cameras, the vignetting is much stronger.

Compatible with the following camera systems when used with the proper adapter:
Sony E (APS-C sensor),
Micro Four Thirds (Olympus PEN, Panasonic),
Samsung NX,
Canon EOS M,
Nikon 1,
Fujifilm X,
Pentax Q,

Calibrated precisely to infinity. It does not focus past infinity.

Minimum focusing distance is 12cm.

This lens has no adjustable aperture and remains fixed at f/3.5.
However, the Industar-M is sharp wide open and produces beautiful bokeh.

Please note: the distance scale on the lens does not correspond to the actual focusing distances.
The lens block is not perfectly centered.
However, it remains usable and is capable of producing acceptable images
