Up for sale is a vintage Croton Aquamedico manual-winding men's wristwatch, reference number 8179 (AM4), dating back to the 1940s. The watch features a stainless steel case measuring approximately 30mm in width, and it winds, sets, and runs properly with its last service performed in 2020. I had no ability to open the case to view or photograph the movement. The champagne-toned dial exhibits noticeable tropical-style aging, spotting, and patina throughout, but retains clear Arabic numerals and hour markers. This timepiece is fitted with an expandable metal stretch bracelet and makes for a classic collectible piece from a historical Swiss-maker brand. [TM-270]
