A genuinely lovely example of the E82 125i, with BMW’s naturally aspirated 3.0-litre straight-six engine and six-speed manual gearbox.
I’ve owned the car for 12 months and it has been a car I’ve genuinely enjoyed owning and driving. The 125i is a bit of a sweet spot in the BMW range — smooth, refined and comfortable when you want it to be, but with a fantastic engine and rear-wheel drive when you fancy a bit more fun.
The car has been well maintained throughout my ownership and has had a number of sensible improvements over the years, including refreshed suspension, upgraded brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres. These have all been fitted with improving the car rather than turning it into an uncomfortable track car in mind.
It has also been professionally remapped, taking the engine to around 270bhp.

The car drives extremely well, with the suspension, brakes and tyres giving it a really planted feel without compromising its usability as a road car.
It’s a reluctant sale, but with circumstances changing I’ve decided it’s time for the E82 to go to someone who will appreciate what makes these cars special.
