Two heavyweight Jamaican dub minds meet on In Roots Vibe; Augustus Pablo brings the melodica, King Tubby brings the echo chamber and apparently nobody has bothered to locate the off switch. 'King Tubby's Rock Steady Dub' takes the lead, letting scraps of vocal bob through the haze before Pablo answers from somewhere down the corridor. Elsewhere, 'Three Blind Mice' and even a Johnny Cash hook wander into proceedings uninvited. Serious dub craft.
