Replacement
Starter Motor
For RATO R740 23HP Engine
Replace a faulty starter with the assembly specified for your R740 engine. Review the part number, mounting configuration and electrical connections before ordering.
Engine horsepower identifies the intended application; it is not the starter motor's output rating.
The details that matter for your repair
This listing is for a replacement starter motor assembly, not a complete engine. The photographs below show the product from different angles so you can compare it with your existing unit.
Designed for the specified engine application
The starter engages the engine during starting. This replacement is listed for the RATO R740 23HP engine under part number 30300-Z130121-00A0.
- Starter motor assembly shown with its attached solenoid.
- Multiple product views help you compare the configuration.
- Choose by the correct part number, not horsepower alone.
Compare before you commit
The drive-end photo shows the actual opening and mounting structure. Compare these features with the removed starter and the equipment's parts information.
- Check the mounting-hole arrangement and flange shape.
- Compare the nose housing and visible drive configuration.
- Ask for clarification if your existing part looks different.
Inspect the terminal arrangement
Use this close-up to compare the solenoid and connection layout with your existing starter. A similar appearance alone does not establish electrical compatibility.
- Verify the replacement number in your parts documentation.
- Confirm electrical requirements before installation.
- Follow the equipment manufacturer's service instructions.
Before you order
Confirm your application
Check that your equipment uses the RATO R740 23HP engine. Do not assume compatibility with other engines or every machine carrying the same brand.
Match the replacement number
Compare 30300-Z130121-00A0 with your original part or the replacement number specified in the manufacturer's parts documentation.
Check the physical layout
Compare the mounting flange, drive-end housing and terminal arrangement. If anything differs, send the seller your engine identification and clear part photos through eBay Messages.
