Original 1989 Monogram #2791 model kit remains factory sealed in its original shrink wrap and has never been opened. Box displays well overall but shows age/storage wear, including some visible creasing/compression and shrink-wrap wear as shown in the photographs.

Because the kit remains sealed, the contents have not been opened or inventoried. Please review all photos carefully for exact box and shrink-wrap condition.

Offered is an original 1989 Monogram Indy Car Series #2791 Valvoline March Indy Car, featuring Al Unser Jr.'s #3 Valvoline-sponsored March.

This vintage 1/24 scale plastic model kit remains factory sealed in its original shrink wrap, making it a nice survivor for collectors of vintage Monogram kits, Indy Car/CART racing memorabilia and Al Unser Jr. collectibles.

The identification is particularly solid on this one: eBay's catalog records #2791 as a 1989 Monogram 1/24 kit, while a specialist vintage-model inventory describes #2791 as “Al Unser Jr.'s Valvoline 1988 March Indy Car,” issued in 1989, and identifies the race car as #3. 

The distinction is useful for the listing: 1988 describes the race car represented; 1989 is the model kit's release/manufacture year.

The original box features the classic Monogram Indy Car Series artwork with the Valvoline March taking the checkered flag. This example also retains the original period retail price sticker visible on the end panel.
