The Minolta MC Rokkor-PG 58mm F1.2 is a legendary fast prime lens

from the 1970s, nicknamed "Hawk Eye" by collectors for its striking

large front element. This large-aperture standard lens delivers

exceptionally shallow depth of field and beautifully smooth bokeh,

making it a favorite for portrait and available-light photography.

This is the desirable early production (前期) version.

The lens has been professionally disassembled and cleaned, with no

fungus present. A slight haze remains on the front element, which

produces a subtle "black mist filter"-like softening effect when

shooting into strong light sources - a characteristic some

photographers seek out intentionally. Sharp focus confirmed at both

infinity and closest focusing distance in real-world test shots.

Aperture blades and helicoid both move smoothly.
