Exceptional vintage Gucci men's overcoat dating to the Tom Ford / transitional 2004-era period, representing the sharply tailored and understated aesthetic associated with Gucci menswear of the early 2000s.
Constructed in 100% black wool, the coat features an elongated tailored silhouette with a concealed front closure and an especially unusual asymmetric multi-pocket configuration — three stacked flap pockets on one side contrasted by a single flap pocket on the opposite side.
One of the strongest details is the hardware: each cuff is finished with a row of five metal buttons individually engraved GUCCI, creating a subtle but distinctly luxurious signature without relying on exterior branding.
The interior is fully finished in a beautiful tonal black GG monogram jacquard lining, with an original GUCCI interior label and period factory/manufacturing tags.
This restrained combination of black-on-black monogram, substantial wool construction, unusual pocket architecture and branded metal hardware gives the coat the discreet yet provocative character associated with Gucci menswear from the final Tom Ford period.
