This Postcard shows a six-panel montage displaying five dedicated church bells and the Holy Crown of Hungary at Saint Stephen church Wels Upper Austria AT Wels Co. Printed information on the reverse identifies the scene stating "Az istenfélő menekültek és a hazából kiüzöttek szimbolumai. (Szt.István temp.) Wels-Ausztria 1974.Szűz Mária Harang 704 kg.Föltámadt Jézus Krisztus h. 1152 kg. Őrangyalok H. 329 kg. Szt. István e. vértanú H. 1740 kg. A Magyar Szt. Korona. Szt. Flórián H.491 kg." The card contains individual close-ups of each dedicated bell including the Guardian Angel Bell (1740 kg) the Risen Christ Bell (1152 kg) the St Stephen's Bell (704 kg) the St Florian Bell (491 kg) and the Virgin Mary Bell (329 kg). The inclusion of the Holy Crown of Hungary in the center signifies the Hungarian refugees who fled their homeland due to Soviet oppression and communist tyranny establishing a deep connection between the Hungarian exile community and the church in Austria. The bells are adorned with relief depictions of sacred figures and German religious inscriptions including "Ich sehe den Himmel offen und den Menschensohn zur Rechten Gottes stehen" and "Lobet den Herrn alle Völker" around the lower skirts.
