Vodu Figurine
"Vodu (Vodoun, Vodou, Voudou, Voodoo) often means "spirit," "god," or "supernatural power." Vodu is a polysemantic term that refers to a syncretic religion practiced in Ghana, Togo, Benin, and western Nigeria. Spirits at the center of this belief system are also called vodu; the word may likewise reference a practioner of the religion and some of its key ritual objects."
