Important Reminders
This heating element supports dry‑firing only. Do not disassemble, strike or immerse it in water.
Example: 12V/60°C means under 12V input, the heater runs dry‑firing at approx. 60 °C constant surface temperature. Initial heating power reaches 8W. Once constant temperature is achieved, resistance rises, current drops, and power falls to around 2W.
What is PTC?
PTC stands for Positive Temperature Coefficient thermistor.
Working Principle
The core heating component of the PTC heater is positive‑temperature‑coefficient thermistor. Its resistance rises sharply as the component body temperature increases. Higher temperature brings higher resistance value.

Power Selection Instructions
Works with rated voltage directly, supports both AC and DC power supply; no positive‑negative polarity requirement.
Take 12V heating plate as an example:
compatible with AC & DC 12V. Power supply output current must exceed the heater’s peak heating current; otherwise the heater cannot work properly.
Power Related Notes
After power‑on, PTC heater power rises first then falls and stabilizes eventually. Stable power is determined by heat dissipation condition: faster heat dissipation brings higher power consumption. Our marked parameter refers to maximum heat‑dissipation power; practical working power will be lower than this maximum value.
Prohibited for corrosive, flammable or explosive environments. Strictly forbidden to submerge in water, knock or drill holes on the unit.
Heaters of identical voltage can be connected in parallel and mounted side‑by‑side. Do NOT stack heating plates, overlapping installation will cause heat accumulation.
Parallel connection for multiple heating plates: more units in parallel deliver higher total power.
Lower supply voltage will extend heating time and reduce power output, while temperature stays nearly constant (minor temperature drop may occur).
