Featured here is a Trio/Hollander Model 34-59 Catcher's mitt/glove from "The Yankee Clipper Line" endorsed by New York Mets Catcher Jerry Grote. Grote, who played 12 of his 16 major league seasons with the Mets (1966-77), was the starting catcher for the "Amazing" World Champions of 1969.
