Gösta Gierow, born 1931 in Stockholm, died 2011, was a Swedish painter and graphic artist.
His art was characterized by the worship of beauty and spirituality, paired with black humor and feelings of anxiety about the destruction of what man has created by nature and time. The Spanish artist and architect Gaudi became an important inspiration.
