Vintage Japanese Samurai Armor Yoroi – “The Green General”
This is a vintage Japanese samurai armor display set made in Japan during the 1980s by Japanese armor craftsman Uehara Gyokuhou.
Known as “The Green General,” this armor features a striking gold dragon ornament on the kabuto, layered genuine-silk odoshi lacing in light green, pale brown, and deep green, pure gold-plated decorative details, gold-finished iron plates, and richly patterned Japanese textiles.
The combination of green, gold, white, brown, and black creates a refined yet commanding samurai presence.
This is a decorative display armor set only.
It is not wearable and must not be used for protection, cosplay, reenactment, or martial arts practice.
GOLD DRAGON KABUTO
The kabuto features a prominent golden dragon ornament rising between large kuwagata.
The dragon creates the defining focal point of the armor and gives the entire display a powerful and dignified appearance.

PURE GOLD-PLATED DETAILS

This armor is presented in a style inspired by the Nanbokucho period of Japan, 1336–1392.
