BACHMANN OO Gauge 32-057 Class 42 Warship 870 'Zulu' BR Blue Full Yellow Ends
Thank you for viewing our listing for this OO gauge model of the Class 42 Warship, manufactured by Bachmann (32-057). It carries the running number 870 and is named 'Zulu'. The model is presented in BR blue with full yellow ends.
The model features a plastic body on a weighty die-cast chassis. The loco is well detailed, with separately fitted handrails and sprung buffers. It's an older Bachmann model which does NOT have working lights.
The loco is presented in fair, used condition and has been test run to ensure proper operation. Unfortunately the paint on the body seems to have faded (it's not weathering), it's a most unusual issue and not something I've seen before, it looks like it's been through the washing plant too many times! If you're a glass half empty sort of person, the model is ruined but if you're a glass half full type, then the model is already on the way to being weathered and appearing in its 'end of life' condition. Make of it what you will!
There is also a small glue mark to one of the bodyside windows and some damage to one of the running numbers. The additional detailing parts and instructions are included. The box is in good condition with some shelf wear. Please view all of the images to help gain a better understanding of any damaged areas.
This is a nice model of an attractive class of locomotive with an unusual condition. With a bit of work it would still make a great addition to your layout!

ABOUT US - TEST TRACK MODELS
Hi, I'm Tom, a model railway lifer and car tragic. I've spent many, many hours working on model railway layouts at home, being roped-in by my dad at a young age! I also have a passion for cars and used to collect 1:18 scale examples.
With over 10 years' experience buying & selling on eBay and having spent all of my working life in different levels of retail I decided to take a risk, leave my career and set up Test Track Models, intending to bring good value to a strong selection of pre-owned model railway items, cars of all scales and perhaps the other odd thing in between.
It's been exciting so far (and a steep learning curve) and I look forward to where it might end up.
I commit to reusing packaging where I can to lessen any impact, and using options such as paper packing tape.
With thanks,
Tom
