REVOLUTION TRAINS OO Gauge 00-SGMIS-001 Southern General Manager's Inspection Saloon 'TDB975025' BR Blue/Grey

Thank you for viewing our listing for this OO gauge model of the unique Southern General Manager's Inspection Saloon, manufactured by Revolution Trains (00-SGMIS-001). It is presented in BR Blue/Grey. This coach was converted in the late 1960s to be used for track inspections and entertaining VIPs. It is still in use today with Network Rail, now painted green and named 'Caroline'.

The model features a plastic body and chassis with added weight. It is extremely well detailed with separately fitted pipework, handrails & footsteps and a very well detailed underframe. There is a full suite of lighting including headlights, illuminated headcode boxes and full interior lighting. Revolution really went to town with this one, it's a fine model!

The coach is presented in excellent, used condition and has been test run to ensure proper operation. The bag of additional detailing parts is present but the instructions are missing. The box is in good condition with some minor shelf wear. Please view all of the images to help gain a better understanding of any damaged areas.

A highly detailed, unique and useful coach which would make a real focal point when run. It would make a great addition to your layout!

ABOUT US - TEST TRACK MODELS

Hi, I'm Tom, a model railway lifer and car tragic. I've spent many, many hours working on model railway layouts at home, being roped-in by my dad at a young age! I also have a passion for cars and used to collect 1:18 scale examples.

With over 10 years' experience buying & selling on eBay and having spent all of my working life in different levels of retail I decided to take a risk, leave my career and set up Test Track Models, intending to bring good value to a strong selection of pre-owned model railway items, cars of all scales and perhaps the other odd thing in between.

It's been exciting so far (and a steep learning curve) and I look forward to where it might end up.

I commit to reusing packaging where I can to lessen any impact, and using options such as paper packing tape.

With thanks,
Tom
