Vintage Japanese Samurai Armor Yoroi – Pure Gold Leaf Dragon Kyo Yoroi
This is a vintage Japanese samurai armor display set made in Japan by armor artisan Jikkei.
Known as a Kyo Yoroi, or Kyoto-style armor, the set features a magnificent dragon crest finished with pure gold leaf, vivid red genuine-silk odoshi lacing, elaborate gold-leaf-finished decorative elements, and richly patterned Japanese textiles.
The combination of gold, red, black, and traditional brocade gives the armor a splendid and commanding presence when displayed.
This is a decorative display armor set only.
It is not wearable and must not be used for protection, cosplay, reenactment, or martial arts practice.
PURE GOLD-LEAF DRAGON CREST
The centerpiece of the kabuto helmet is a powerful sculptural dragon rising above the helmet.
