Featuring a Manuel Pedro Ortiz vintage 925 sterling silver choker necklace and matching screw-back earring set, as shown, designed in the renowned silver-crafting hub of Taxco, Mexico. The set displays a grape-like bunch arrangement consisting of interlocking openwork silver circles suspended from a central stylized stem. The necklace is a ridged contoured torque collar band, crafted out of thick sheet silver, tapering with wire-wrapped terminal accents at the rear clasp. Stamped “MPO", the maker initials for Manuel Pedro Ortiz, “Sterling” and “Mexico”. Approximate measurements- necklace 5 1/2” across and pendant/ earrings 2” long x 1 1/4” wide. In overall good vintage condition, minimal wear with a patina, or polish them to make them sparkle if you prefer that look.
