Newbery cricket bats were made to be played with and I have refurbed this so that it can go back out to the middle.

Wonderfully light, 5 wide, evenly spread grains and a lovely ping.

Early 2000 model coming from the renowned Newbery stable.

Delamination face split fully repaired, glued, clamped and sanded smooth with a 800 grit. Great condition for age.

Whilst I think this should be played with I have left it 'naked' as collectors and enthusiasts may well consider this rare Extra Cover - particularly with the X1 shoulder stamp.

However, if yours buying to play with (and I would) then just ask and I can apply edge tape to both sides.

Finished with a good coat of linseed wax and a brand new enkay rubber grip.
