This 1984 Greco MTX-85 electric guitar neck features a long angled headstock, 648 mm scale, 22-fret overhang, maple construction, and rosewood fingerboard. The retained original nut and Kahler top-lock mounting arrangement make it a strong period restoration component for a correctly measured project.
The neck is straight in its installed reference condition, and the truss rod turns in both directions with adjustment room remaining. Approximately 90% of the fret height remains. Small clear-coat nicks are present along the headstock edge; the fingerboard and rear surface remain in good used condition. The neck was cleaned, the frets were polished, and the fingerboard was oiled. Tuners and the Kahler locking unit are not included.
