Early G&L Tribute S-500, made in Korea in 2003 and finished in a very attractive transparent Blueburst with pearloid pickguard and rosewood fingerboard.

This is one of the earlier Korean-made Tribute models and features the classic S-500 specification, including three G&L Magnetic Field Design (MFD) single-coil pickups, G&L dual-fulcrum tremolo bridge and the additional mini-toggle pickup expander switch.

Condition
The guitar is used and shows considerable cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, so please study all of the photographs carefully.
There are scratches, scuffs and marks to the body, including some more noticeable finish wear/chipping. The metal hardware has tarnishing, surface corrosion and oxidation in places, particularly around the bridge, screws and other fittings. The pickguard and surrounding areas also show dirt/discolouration from use.
The strings currently fitted are old and rusty and should be replaced. The guitar would benefit from a thorough clean, fresh set of strings and general setup.
The frets and fingerboard show normal signs of use and age.
The guitar has been tested and is working. The truss rod is also functioning correctly.
No tremolo arm is included.
This has deliberately been left largely as found rather than heavily cleaned or having original-looking components replaced. It should therefore make a good project for someone who wants to clean and set it up to their own preferences.
An interesting early Korean G&L Tribute S-500 with plenty of character and a particularly attractive Blueburst finish.
