The seller states: "It has been kept carefully as part of a collection. As this is an old card, please check the condition from the images."

• Front - the holo is strong. The sparkle across the artwork is vivid with no clouding. Faint hairline marks on the holo surface can be seen only at an angle under strong light.
• Light whitening along the front borders.
• Back: whitening along the edges and at the corners, most visible at the bottom-left corner, with a small nick on the left edge.
• No creases, no writing, no water damage.

I have graded this conservatively at Moderately Played because of the back edges. The front presents better than the grade suggests - the holo really is the strong point of this copy. Please judge from the photos and buy accordingly.

About This Card

Shining Mew is one of the most famous Japanese promos of the old back era. It was given away only as an insert with the May 2001 issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic and was never sold at retail, so the supply has always been limited to what readers kept. The card carries the note that only one copy may be included in a deck, and the shining treatment by Hironobu Yoshida is what collectors chase.
