When I was in 7th grade (Catholic School, early 80s), students were tasked to write an essay concerning a personal hero. I wrote about Bo Derek. I was pulled aside, scolded, and given an F. Unfair because it was a well written essay and I backed up my reasons why Bo was a hero to me. It was no good failing me for my opinion of a hero.
