VINTAGE RW BAVARIA STEPHENS COLLEGE SMALL PORCELAIN BUD VASE
Offered for sale is a charming small-size porcelain bud vase featuring the historic Stephens College crest and the Latin motto “Deo et Veritati,” traditionally translated as “For God and Truth.”
Please note that this is a petite decorative vase, not a full-size flower vase. Its compact size is suitable for displaying a single small flower or bud, or for use as a collectible collegiate souvenir.
The vase features a glossy ivory-white porcelain body, gracefully flared opening and an elaborate gold scrolling band around the shoulder. A fine gold line accents the rim and frames the decorative collar.
The underside bears the circular RW Bavaria factory mark associated with the Rudolf Wächter porcelain decorating works of Kirchenlamitz, Bavaria, Germany. It is additionally marked “HANDPAINTED.”
