OUR TAKE
Christopher Ward discontinued Basalt Grey, which is the only reason this one is interesting. It's the darkest dial The Twelve came in — near-black indoors, grey in daylight, with the twin-flags pattern doing all the work. 40mm and 44.5mm lug-to-lug, so it wears bigger than the 38 and needs the wrist to match. Two things worth knowing before you buy. There is dirt built up around the crown tube — you can see it in the last two photos, and I've left it as found rather than clean it and photograph it after. And this is pre-owned with no box and no papers, so without the warranty card Christopher Ward's guarantee doesn't transfer. Priced accordingly.
